New Loyalty Card design and Award System

Marks & Spencer International has launched a new design for the M&S Loyalty Card. The card is designed in the new corporate colours of black and lime green and it is truly a modernised version of the old M&S Loyalty card.

New scholarships to students with excellent academic records

For the sixth consecutive year the Artemisia Panayiotou Foundation organised an event to present this year’s scholarships to students with excellent academic records, who face financial difficulties. The Foundation was founded in 2006 in memory of Artemisia Panayiotou and every year offers a number of scholarships to help selected students further their education in Universities of Cyprus and abroad. Scholarships are also given to children of Voici La Mode staff members.
For the academic year 2011-2012, the Foundation awarded 4 new scholarships amounting to €30,000, which will cover the needs of 16 students. Since 2006, the Foundation has offered a total amount of €190,000 to 37 young students.
The event took place on September 8th, 2011. The Foundation’s Head of the Executive Committee and Managing Director of the Voici La Mode Group of Companies Mrs Artemis Antoniadou, in a moving speech, stressed the importance of helping students further their education and honoured the late Artemisia Panayiotou for her philanthropic work.
Today, the Voici La Mode Group employs more than three hundred staff members and operates five Marks & Spencer stores, including a M&S HOME Store, four Café la Mode and four CELIO stores.

Summer event at Marks & Spencer Acropolis

Marks & Spencer – Voici La Mode organised a summer event on Wednesday 1st June 2011, at their large store in Acropolis Nicosia, to celebrate the new summer collections.
The people attending enjoyed the cocktail event offered by Café la Mode and shopped from the Marks & Spencer summer collections in the Ladies, Men’s and Kidswear departments and of course visited the food department for some tasty ready-made meals. All departments had a 10% discount and many other offers.
Other promotions included:
- Buy items €100 or more and win 4 Marks & Spencer gift vouchers worth €500. The 4 winners are Annita Kronidou, Despo Karefyllidou, Eleni Kindini and Eleni Pilasa.
- Win a €1000 voucher from Marks & Spencer to spend at a travel agent. The big winner is Maria Xenopoulou.

Pandora Park inauguration

Marks & Spencer – Voici La Mode had adopted the Pandora Park on the occasion of the 50 years anniversary of Marks & Spencer in Cyprus and as part of the Company’s Social Corporate Responsibility and PLAN A, Marks & Spencer U.K’s environmental project for protecting the environment.
The inauguration of the Pandora Park took place on Wednesday, 4th May 2011, by the honourable Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism Mr Antonis Paschalides and the Mayor of Nicosia Ms Eleni Mavrou.

The Managing Director of Marks & Spencer – Voici La Mode Mrs Artemis Antoniadou, said: «Our city needs green areas and we are very glad that we were able to contribute to our community. We adopted the Pandora Park with the goal to recondition and upgraded it. We have equipped the Park, as you can see, with special exercise equipment, imported from abroad, which promote exercise for both children and adults alike. We do hope that many more companies follow our example and support in the same way the communities where they do business.»
A great number of people attended the event, such as Government and Municipality officials and Voici La Mode Ltd staff members.

Blood donation in memory of Artemisia Panayiotou

The Voici La Mode Group held its annual blood donation, in memory of its founder Artemisia Panayiotou, at Marks & Spencer Acropolis in Nicosia, on 16 February 2011. Several staff members gathered to give blood.
The blood donation event takes place every year to offer support to the community and to people who need our help.
